Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Companion for Enshrouded mobile application ("the App") or the FlameBot Discord bot ("the Bot"), operated by the developer at Droidr ("we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, or by interacting with the Bot on Discord, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App or the Bot.

Sections 1-11 apply specifically to the mobile App. Section 12 applies specifically to the FlameBot Discord Bot. The remaining sections apply to both.

1. Description of the App

Companion for Enshrouded is an unofficial fan-made companion application for the video game Enshrouded, developed by Keen Games. The App provides game-related reference information including items, equipment, crafting recipes, lore, and other game data to assist players.

Disclaimer: This App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Keen Games GmbH or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates. "Enshrouded" and all related names, marks, and images are trademarks of their respective owners. All game content referenced within the App belongs to its respective copyright holders.

2. License and Usage

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Copy, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to circumvent any security features, including ad display mechanisms or in-app purchase verification.
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to interact with the App.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices within the App.

3. In-App Purchases

3.1 Available Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases including:

• Remove Ads: A one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently removes all advertisements from the App.
• Tip Jar: Optional consumable purchases to support the developer.

3.2 Payment Processing

All purchases are processed through:

• Google Play Billing (Android) — governed by Google Play Terms of Service.
• Apple App Store / StoreKit (iOS) — governed by Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3.3 Refunds

Refund requests must be directed to the respective platform:

• Android: Through Google Play.
• iOS: Through Apple Support.

We do not process refunds directly. All purchases are subject to the refund policies of the respective app store.

3.4 Purchase Restoration

Non-consumable purchases (such as "Remove Ads") can be restored on the same platform using the same account. We are not responsible for purchases that cannot be restored due to platform account changes.

4. Advertisements

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. By using the App, you acknowledge that:

• Ads are served by third-party ad networks and their content is not controlled by us.
• Ad content may be personalized based on your device information and usage patterns, subject to your ad preferences and the Privacy Policy.
• You may remove ads by purchasing the "Remove Ads" option within the App.
• Attempting to generate fraudulent ad clicks or impressions is prohibited and may result in termination of access.

5. Push Notifications

The App may send push notifications about new content updates or features via Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings. On Android (API 33+), the App will request notification permission before sending notifications.

6. Game Content and Accuracy

• The App provides game reference data for informational purposes only.
• Game data may become outdated as the game receives updates. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current but do not guarantee accuracy or completeness.
• We are not responsible for any gameplay decisions made based on information provided by the App.
• All game content, including item names, descriptions, images, and statistics, is the intellectual property of its respective owners.

7. Intellectual Property

• The App's source code, design, layout, and original content (excluding game data) are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• All game-related content (names, images, descriptions, etc.) remains the property of Keen Games GmbH and its licensors.
• The pixel art UI design, visual effects, and custom components are original works of the developer.

8. User Conduct

You agree to use the App responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You shall not:

• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or its services.
• Interfere with other users' use of the App.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
• The information provided will be accurate, complete, or current at all times.
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) for in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play Services, and Apple StoreKit. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:

We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.

12. FlameBot Discord Bot

FlameBot is a Discord bot that provides game data lookups, skill tree visualization, shared save stats, and game server status queries for the Enshrouded community.

12.1 Description

FlameBot offers slash commands within Discord servers, including:

• /item, /quest, /npc, /recipe, /creature: Look up game data and receive rendered image cards.
• /skilltree: Decode and visualize skill tree build codes.
• /buildinfo: View publicly shared save file metadata.
• /server: Query the status of any Enshrouded game server via the Steam A2S protocol.

12.2 License and Usage

You may use the Bot for personal, non-commercial purposes within Discord. You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, scripts, or other bots to interact with FlameBot.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Bot's operation.
• Use the Bot for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Discord's Terms of Service.
• Use the /server command to scan, probe, or enumerate servers you do not have permission to query.

12.3 Availability

The Bot is provided on an "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Bot at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uptime, response times, or availability of any specific command or feature.

12.4 Discord Platform

Your use of the Bot is also subject to Discord's Terms of Service and Discord's Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for Discord's platform, policies, or any actions taken by Discord.

12.5 Third-Party Game Servers

The /server command queries third-party game servers using the Steam A2S protocol. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of information returned by these servers. Server owners control their own server data.

12.6 Game Content

The same disclaimer in Section 6 applies to the Bot. Game data provided by the Bot may become outdated and is for informational purposes only. All game content is the intellectual property of its respective owners.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App or the Bot at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. You may stop using the Bot at any time by ceasing to interact with it.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App or the Bot after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App or Bot shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through the appropriate legal channels in the jurisdiction of the developer.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
